Default Speedometer does not work

Im getting battery voltage to the engine speed sensor, and the other sensor that goes into the trans.
Also i suppose there are gears in the rear end due to a reclabration box that has a red jump wire taped into the cig. lighter then rest of the wires a grey.white, green purple go into the trans.

The Odometer lights up with the milage, but does not turn, and the speedometer does not work either!

What could i check for? Could the box be bad? all connections are tight! Could there be a bad conection in the dash somewhere

Help needed

thanks

Something tells me the speedcal is bad. Remove it and hook everything up like it was from the factory and go from there.

There is an article somewhere about how to hook up a speedcal. You would just have to do the reverse. I can`t seem to find the article. I`m gonna try to look a little more. I`ll post it if I find it.

Yes, disconnect the battery like the article says. And yes, the speedcal may be bad.
