i want a different set up cuz bbk o/r x with stock muffs is bad but i dont want to be too loud...
now i know LM1s are really loud but my friend is selling his to me for 80 if i want them
also my other friend went from bassani catted x to some o/r x and he has his flows laying around too for 60 bucks but i hate flows
now my question is
if i bought the catted x with the slp lm1s how loud would it be?
i dont want too loud because im automatic and my car is red hahah dont want to get hte cops attention
so do you guys think it would be alright, or too loud?
the LM1s were loud as ***** on his 6.0 silverado ss
food for thought
thanks guys

RE: how loud would....
why spend all that money on a different exhaust... just get electric cutouts and keep the stock midpipe and get a couple pipes re-bent for the tips... makes it WAY louder running open heads and gives you more power and prob spend a little bit more money

I have the BBK Equal Lengths, Bassani Catted X and the LM2s...and its still VERY loud- but sounds perfect! LM1s would be considerably louder - but is would still sounds pretty good i think. I'd look at some LM2s with your Bassani Catted X...you'll love the sound!

The midpipe helps make power by acutally creating a small vaccum in the exhaust. As each cylinder fires it creates an exhaust pulse, and when they travel thru the X/H they create a vaccum in the other pipe, which helps with scavanging.
Cutout FTL! Besides, I don't think there is a custom cutout made for our car, so you would need to have a shop put it all in for you.
