Due toa moving mishap, I ended up cracking my passenger side air vent. Ordered the new vent assembly, went to install it. Popped it partially out of the dash, but there are two bolts securing it inside the glove compartment. Can't remove these with a socket wrench -- they just constantly turn with minimal resistance. They are also plastic, so suspect they may simply be retaining clips.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to remove this?
