Header Paint/Coating?

Header Paint/Coating?
Alright, I got a set of black painted Flowtech Longtubes, and I wanna know if I should buy some kind of paint or coating for them before i put them on. They are not ceramic, and I know ceramic owns all. But seriously I need some suggestions. I tried searching and did not find any info on them. Thanks!

Nothing you can really do. That black paint is there to protect during shipping. When you start the car it is going to smoke like crazy because all of that paint is going to burn off. If you try to paint over it before install it is just going to come off with the black paint. The only way is to remove all of the black paint and paint with High temp paint or ceramic paint.

I have looked at some of the hight temp kits and they want you to cure them in an oven? Can i cure them on the car by starting and running a few minutes, let it cool. Start and run a few more minutes?
