there are a couple of clips you remove to replace them. I don't really know what you mean by your question...

go with Rain X wipers. If your talkin about the acctual arm, closer to the cowl of the arm you'll see a lil clip you pull outwards. You may have to lift the arm up todo so.

I got the new bosch ones they are awesome, super easy to switch out...

But at 40.00 a set kinda pricey!
