coolant problem

coolant problem

after my my engine warms up a little the coolant light comes on and i have tried putting more coolant in and it still comes on does anybody know what could be the problem

how is your floater? at the bottom in the resevoir?

mine did that i had more water then antifreeze... drained some water and added more antifreeze good to go and i blew air on the connector

Could also be your coolant temp sensor.

Could also be a leak...happens all the time to these plastic manifolds.Just had mine replaced because the light kept coming on and even after I added coolant, it came on after a while. Ended up being a hairline crack.
