Here we go again...

I went to lunch and as I was leaving the diner. I hear popping and the mustang starts sputtering.. So I pull over and pop the hood to see the #1 COP shaking...

I turn everything off, and pull the plug..... this is what I found...

and this is how i got home

Im beginning to wish I had gone with the older 5.0 ...

a plug completely blowing out the threads in the head and bouncing around between the piston and the bolted-on COP...

Just a guess...

Better question is why would the plug blow out of an engine with only 1500 miles on it?
THAT is one that me and my mechanic will have to discuss in great detail....
