Default quick exhaust question?

I have 04 GT and for ****s and giggles am thinking about taking off my h-pipe. I am going to leave on mufflers and tips cause im going to put it back on, but since it will be dumping right out of the manifold, how will it sound? Will it help or hurt performance? sound be horrible? Im just doing this for the hell of it, just for a day or two, cause i'll be getting x pipe here soon, any suggestions on brands? Bassani?

NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

That is a wase of time, you will loose power, sound like ****, and get laughed at when you drive becasue your brand new car sounds like a it has a garbage can for a muffler! Just wait till you get your new X put on.

i wouldnt do that, take off you h-pipe just for the hell of it. i dont think it would be the smartest of things to do. Just wait until u get the aftermarket one in. i would go with an h-pipe personally, but its up to you. you can go to mustangexhaust.com and there are tons of different setups, and you can listen to how they sound. i would do this BBK longtubes and then the BBK short h-pipe then i would get Magnapacks. that would run you about 1300 bucks plus whatever you spend on install but your car would sound SOOOO mean and you would gain atleast 30hp if not more.

DON"T DO IT!!!!! You will hurt your motor!!!!! The stock manifolds will not help scavange from the other cylinders. You will make the exhaust flow stale and will overheat and burn your valves. The car will sound like crap and have sh*ty power. DON"T DO IT!!!

LT you can run dumps on because the exhaust meets at a collector then into a short run of pipe.

Not to mention the exhaust gases will not be able to get out from under the hood and will raise the temp in the engine compartment and the passenger compartment considearbly.

DYF and leave it on till you get an x-pipe.
