I want some HIDs really bad but dont want to be blinding oncoming traffic. Are the kits high beam and low beam or just one setting?

2k1gt, if you purchase the bi-xenon kit it has the high and low beam. The brightness of the bulb does not change when you switch from low beam to high beam, only the angle. Trust me, you'll enjoy them.

i have said it so many times. if you want to go HID go with the projectors first. yes they look kinda ricey but they will ultimately give you THE best lighting. vast improvement over HIDs in your stock housings. i have an 8000k bi-xenon kit also and i wish i went projector + 4300k or 5000k. the color looks nice from the outside, but i do a lot of late night canyon runs and even with the high-beams, they aren't bright enough. the color of the lighting is too blue to be useful when it is really pitch black. for normal city use though, they are fine.

the light looks whiter during the day as you can see...

but more purplish-white at night....

LOW BEAMS:

HIGH BEAMS (they look a different color because it takes about 50 hours before the xenon gas mixes in the bulb completely and who really drives with their high beams on for 50 hours???):

it is actually really hard to photograph them at night. most pics were taken with a 400 ISO. the last one is one of my faves though. there was a car driving by

also it is not normal for one to not come on. like stated above, check your connections and talk to stangmods if the problem persists.

woah, my driver doesn't switch off...just at times it doesn't come on normally.

I also didn't get projectors because.....well I didn't want to spend that much money. The difference between the HIDs and the stock bulbs (or my previous Luminics bulbs) is huge. Every sign gives off a reflection at night (or even in daytime) and at times I have seen some cop cars' reflections from their side badges

Yeah i put in the 10K and i think they are just to bright to even see the road. They told me the 4-6K are the brightest for the night the 10K are really just bright to the naked eye
