Umm...once you clear the OBDII system whatever code(s) it has are gone unless it records the issue again.

Our cars only have one light. the CEL...(Check engine light) What's the Service Engine Soon light look like???

Okay, CEL = Service Engine Soon light...never bothered to see exactly what it says. Well if it flipped on and the car was lugging, how fast were you going? Could've been caused by a momentary loss of fuel pressure, stuck injector(s), misfire of the coil packs or the coil controller, could be a number of things.

i've got this same problem. started out a different way though. i got mine back from the body shop and it was on. i went and changed my oil and ran a tank of premium through it and its still on. cars got 46,XXX miles on it. still runs fine and all that too. any ideas? maybe something that commonly happens around this milage.

hey amputist, id check the fuel filter.. i just passed 45k miles and it came on, changed the fuel filter (car was running fine) and it went away. could be a preemptive CEL trigger.

Take it to autozone and have them check it out. It`s free.
