Need help with subframes...
Does anyone have directions on the install for full length subframe connectors? I got my Steeda sc's on Sat but the **** came with no directions and my mechanic was like...'wtf?'
Anyway, I emailed Steeda to see if they can send me somethin but was wondering whether anyone here had anything that could help..thanks guys.

I"m not familiar with the steeda sfc's, but if they are like the ones I got from LRS, they shouldn't be that difficult. Do you plan on doing the install yourself? Are the bolt on or the ones that should be welded. Personally, have them welded. Most muffler shops will be able to install them for you.
They are weld-on's...My mechanic says he can do it, just needs some directions. Any general instruction would be helpful. I found Edelbrock SC instructions but I don't know if that's an issue being that I got Steeda SC's .http://static.summitracing.com/globa...s/edl-5291.pdf

You can go to Maximum Motorsports web site and possibly Steeda's and download instructions.

thats because steeda isnt all that great as aperformance or aftermarket company... Anyways when installing make sure the car is on a complete lift that you drive on to, do not use a 4 point lift. If yours is powder coated (mine was) your gonna wanna scrape off some parts so the welder can get it started. Also the sfc's should be slightly bent to fit your car, DO NOT push the sfc's up to sit flush with the car, instead bend the sfc's then fit em on, otherwise the sfc's are strong enough to pull your frame and distort it. when your mechanic or whoever is done welding them make sure you follow the welds up with some rustoleum or something sumilar.
The install tho is pretty intuitive, just weld all the places the sfc's touch the car, but bet careful and don't heat a spot too long.
And 1hotdrp yours will need to have the cross bolted on when you mount your mm full length sub frames, atleast I hope you bought the full length ones.
