Default Small piping

Ok for the gagillionth time on this forum i have an exhaust question, but i think its a lil different. I Have BBK Long Tube Headers, Off road X-pipe, and weld in flows. I wanna change my cat-back because of the piping behind the mufflers is retardedly small and i'dlike bigger piping and biggertips, the little tips are ugly, and it bugs me to know how small the piping is. I want something that will sound like my flows do? Anybody know what'll get me that same sound?

mac has some 3.5 inch tips that look pretty good. But I think we all agree the best lookin tip is the SLP

Now do you want new piping or would you be willing to just get new tips? cause if you get the tips you probably will never see the piping if it bothers you that much.

its not seeing the piping that bothers me its knowing that, that part of my exhaust isn't very good. I just think the bigger pipng would allow for better sound. (and perhaps a tiny bit of performance, but i'm not worried about it if not)

i read somewhere and these numbers might be a little off.. 2.5 inch exhaust is good to 300hp 2.75 is good to about 350 and 3 inch is 350+ im not sure, but you can explore around a little on the net to find the numbers, most people forget that the diameter of their system is almost as imporant as the back pressure

the borla (rolled?) tips look the best out of the mainstream companies, methinks.

Actually, 2 1/4" is good to 300hp, 2 1/2," 300-400hp, 3" 400+ (according to Bassani)
Get some 3 1/2" slash cut 18" long tips welded on to the stock pipes. I had Mac o/r h, 4O flows welded in, with 3 1/2" tips.......Good lord! It was sweet! and still had a little backpressure for the stock engine with the 2 1/4" tailpipes.
