would i lose power if.........
if i can't find a flowmaster catback wit the original 40 series, would the car still sound good if i put on the mac offroad h pipe that's 2.5" and just have the original 40's mufflers welded onto the stock catback that's 2.25"?? would performance be affected cause of the decrease size after the h pipe or would there be no big difference? and if not the flows, what is another great sounding chambered catback??[/align]

RE: would i lose power if.........
Several have done it, you'll probably have a very, very similar sound as if you were to get the full catback. Performance probably won't be any different.
Do it, a full catback is ideal and upgrades your tips, but you won't be hurting with weld ins.

Yeah dude I have a Mac o/r H and Flowmaster 40s welded in. Sounds great. Best sounding Mustang exhuast set up IMO.
Oh and soon to have the Mac LTs laying in my garage installed.
