Don't know what exhaust I have??
Yo guys, I never really asked this question before, but here goes.
When I bought my car like 8 months ago, the guy said he bought it with the exhaust already on there. He claimed that it had a catted X, which it does, and flowmasters, which I think it does. I love the way the car sounds, it's very deepand muscular. I have no problem with the sound.I may be getting bigger tips though, maybe 3.5" angle sliced tips. Mine right now are too small for my taste.I have no clue as to what brand the X pipe is, or if my mufflers are really from flowmaster. How can I find out? I know myx pipe is not a BBK, so that eliminates one brand. If I take some pics, can you guys figure it out?Like is there a special spot I can look for, like a seal, orengraving?I can bring it into my autoshop tomorrow at school, and put it on a lift and snap some pics. Thanks guys.
Oh, and if the tips are welded onto the pipe, can I take an acetyline (sp?) torch to it and bolt on a set of bigger tips? If not, any other cutting methods you'd suggest?
