I don't see or feel anything that looks like that on the front or back of both heads? hmm...

That should be. It's for a 01-04 motor. The 99-00 have single caps.

Yes they are the same heads.

My driver's side and passenger side both don't have any plug that sticks out like that one does. They both have a plug in what looks to be the same spot as that, though...? They're 5.4 heads,any difference?

Honestly idk, but oxfordgt is a smart man. It's where the tentioners wouldgo but in the back I guess. I don't see that plug on the front of either head so I hope I am fine.

It's on the back of the head... How does your coolant tube that lays through the valley go in? I don't remember. What does it bolt to in the back???
