stay away from avids, t4s, yk 520 and pretty much every other yoko made...the es series is good, on the other hand

Generals are perfectly good tires. They have good spin resistance and they grab in turns great too. Just because the name isn't as popular as the others doesn't mean they suck. They are rated #1 out of 40+ name brand tires for a reason.

I have about 300 miles on my Yoko AVS ES100s. So far so good. Had a blowout in the first 50 miles or so, but i think i ran over something and thats just my luck. Got it replaced and back to going again. These tires hook up and corner real well. They also do not track and follow grooves like my old MasterCrafts did.

Yokohamas are really good tires. I would go with them over the generals. I have the goodyear eagleFI GS-D3`s on my car and they are an awesome tire. [sm=smiley20.gif]
