quick lowering question

Default quick lowering question

My car has eibach springs on it already and i am painting my back calipers right now and i noticed once i pulled the wheel off there is this big rubber thing on top of my spring between the spring and the car like half inch thick should i take it out or leave it.

Those are isolators. Leave them there.

You can take them out but do not be surprised when you hear metal to metal noise when you are driving around.
Some take it out for the extra drop.

I left mine on for the noise reduction.

They're in there so ten years down the road you dont have any noise problems. I took mine out before i put in springs and i never heard anything from the suspension. But now i need them becuase im already 2 1/2" on the ground. . .

Leave them in there. They hold the spring in place as well as noise reduction in vibration and squeeking!
