Fuel Pump relay location

Fuel Pump relay location
My friend has a 2001 GT w/ about 40K miles. After sitting all winter he went ot start the car and it would not fire. He said he's not getting any pressure from the fuel pump. He thinks it may be the relay for the fuel pump. So my question is, where is the relay for the pump and can you give a brief explanation as how to test it? I told him to disconnect the battery last weekendjust to reset the computer, but he never did? Could this possibly resolve the problem???
Thanks!
Thanks!

RE: Fuel Pump relay location
Thanks, but he's not even getting power back to the safety switch in the trunk. It wasn't tripped either, that's why he thinks it may be the relay before the safety switch. I was browsing on the net and found some information that it may be behind the air cleaner assembley? Part of the ccrm? Thanks again.

RE: Fuel Pump relay location
It could be the fuel pump fuse on the driver's side engine compartment...
This is on a 01 gt...It should be a 20amp but I switched mine to a 30amp because I have a boost a pump...Its in the left upper corner circled in blue

RE: Fuel Pump relay location
Fuse is good. Can someone please help me out with the location of the actual relay? I have the schematic, it says its part of the bundle within the ccrm, but where is the ccrm???? Thanks for the help so far though![8D]

RE: Fuel Pump relay location
The ccrm is a constant control module relay and it should be a solid state setup. One other thing is to check and see if you have power going to the pcm. If you eec relay doesn't energize then the fuel pump will not energize either. They should both be within the ccrm. One thing you can do to tell where it is, cycle the key from the off position to the one position and it should click in the area of the ccrm.
And they guy that posted the "Red button on top of the relay" just read and don't respond to post's. That is a inertia switch in case of an accident it goes open so you don't keep pumping fuel to an open fuel line. Now go tell someone what you learned today!
