How does the coolant tube in the valley lay?

Huh, that coolant mod at first sounded confusing cause the guy went on a rant and it must have said cooling or coolant a million times. When I actually saw the mod I understood it. http://forums.modulardepot.com/4-6l-...oling-mod.html
That was the better link.

Now it says that the stock way of flowing coolant isn't efficient on the driver's side head. Would that have cause my #6, 7, and 8 cylinderstofowl? I would have extremely hot coils and spark plugs. The spark plugs had oil on them.

It lays flat. Straight across the valley then curves toward the back of the driver's side head.

from what I hear 90% + 2v engines that fail, it happened to the #7 or #8 cylinder due to it running too hot. It's a cheap mod that looks like it could easilly be done now. I plan on doing it myself.

as to why you had oil on your plugs, I didn't know about that. I was just suggesting that this could be some cheap insurance to prevent possible problems in the future.

Does it curve down or out?

Huh? I mean the oil was on the plug and I had to keep taking them out and drying them off. I have recondtioned heads with new seals so it should solve the problem. I am also going to attempt the coolant mod. I have my new intake manifold with the aluminum cross over. I'm just scared I am going to crack the plastic.

Also 96GT226410, if you still need help just ask. If anything I said confused you let me know lol. I confuse myself sometimes. My coolant tube doesn't stick out any. It is just held on to the back of the head with a bolt then goes from being a hard tube to a rubber hose til it gets to the firewall.

So the bracket that is on the coolant tube itself is bolted to the head?

... Also, how is the clutch cable ran? Does it sit on the rack, or does it go under? Is there a place to clip it in? Or does it jusy hang until it goes to the trans? Sorry I have so many questions, but I was carless in taking everything apart. [&:]... Next time, I'll know better. Ha ha...

Yes, it curves toward the back of the head and has a braket attached to it that is bolted to the back of the head. Did the pics I put up help any?

'Bout the clutch cable. Idk what it does stock cause I forget. I have an after market one in now with the firewall adjuster and it just goes from the firewall, down, and into the trans. It's not clipped to anything.I didn't install this. I'm guessing that's what it does stock.
