Default ATF Leak

I am leaking atf in my 96 GT. I haven't put it up on the lift yet, but it is definitely leaking at the pan. Anything you think it could/will be? Just curious so I know what to look for when I throw it it tomorrow... THANKS!!!

I would buy a filter kit and change the filter and gasket! You need to check how much fluid you will need as well.

You cannot just add Royal Purple when you change your filter and gasket. You MUST flush the entire contents out of the torque converter to convert the fluid alonf with the filter change. I would reccomend Valvoline Semi-synthetic since your car has a few miles on it already! valvolone semi is a nice product and it will reduce temps and shift better. I did that to my MonteCarlo Z-34 and it was great. I wouldn't mind the people that say flushing your system ruins things....not true...it simply bring a problem up sooner than when it would origioanlly happen, which would hapen anyways! Most of the time flushing is the best thing for your car!

Are you sure it's not coming from the tailshaft housing?? What about leaking from the input shaft seal??

I'd wait to start buying things until you absolutely know that it's the pan...
