Default The Good Ol' Blue Smoke Question

Ive seen a few post about people blowing blue smoke after installing new pipes. Seemed most people thought they were burning alittle oil. After installing my new catbacks mine started blowing alittle smoke. Seems to me, from the look and smell of the smoke, and after checking my pipes that Im blowing old carbon out of my cats that was bottled up by my old mufflers. Sound about right to any of you?

Default RE: The Good Ol' Blue Smoke Question

they coat most exhaust systems with mineral oil after manufacture to prevent corrosion. my magnaflow's smelled like **** and smoked for about 1 week before I burned all that crap off

blue smoke has me wondering though. that's never a good thing
