Default Pro 5.0 shifter stops

I just bought a Pro 5.0 shifter on E-bay (I know the MGW is the greatest thing since sliced bread[8D]). Anyway, I have read a lot of articles on installing short throw shifters on here and it seems like everybody removes the stops on the TR 3650 installation.

Is this true for the Pro 5.0 too? I got a great deal and plan on installing it sometime this weekend.

FWIW--Tremec and George at MGW say you don't need them, and that if improperly adjusted they can do harm...

+1, I took them out completely. Apparently the TR3650 has pretty beefy internal stops as is.
