buy a GT your same year or even an 04 and you would still come out on top cash wise. if you have alot of bolt ons done to your car just swap it back to stock before you sell it and then install all your parts.

DO NOT GO TO DYNOSPEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They quoted me way more than they quoted you to swap my last gt to a manual and that was with putting a T3650 in! Not only that, but everytimeI tried to confirm an appointment they upped the price on me.I ended up just doing the swap myself with a couple of buddies. That would be your best bet besides trading the car in and buying a manual. I eventually traded that car in and bought a manual and if I would of known the cost and effort in doing the switch I would of just traded that car in from the get go.

i just made up a list of things i needed and searched different forums in the for sale section when people were parting out their gt's. It took a little bit of time to get all the parts but it was worth it. I spent a little over $1000 shipped for all the parts.

You are insane to spend 3k+ for a manual swap.

I'd figure you are upside down with the car, really bad & that is why you are willing to spend the cash. I wouldn't do that. A converter, shift kit & tranny cooler is all you need to be happy. It's your money...but man...I'd never do it.

Buy a blower!

then get yourself a new (relatively speaking) one and make sure it's a stick. hell, if you able to make a $400 ish payment, the new 06 GT's are <$30k in my area. Can't be much difference in the rest of country.

Stick with 03Mustang idea. Trade it in for a manual. Swapping tranny cancause some issues later on.
