Default 2001 GT for $5200.00 Rebuilt too good to be true???

Trying to get a car in the next week and ive got about 6500 to work with. I saw this car on the autotrader. It is a rebuilt title

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...amp;cardist=21

Would you guys buy a car with a rebuilt title? It has leather, 18 in. wheels, seems to be around 3000.00 lower than normal price. I have a good mechanic that can check it out before i buy it. What should he check for specifically?

Be very cautious, have your mechanic check it out. He should know what to look for anyway :P For that price plan on putting some money into it yourself, it can't be perfect for that cheap.

And your sig pic is WAYYYYYYYYY too big. There is a 500x250 pixel limit.[:'(]

If you know the person who rebuilt it to be a good mechanic, and you never plan on reselling the car, then i would maybe consider it. Other than that, Run! Besides, i've seen older vettes with salvage titles going for around that price. If you decide to buy a car like that, do some shopping first and you can find some really sweet cheap race cars. Just remember, your going to have a hell of a time trying to resell the car, and most banks won't give you a loan for a savage vehicle. Good luck.

It looks like the frame has been bent. Mine was bent also when I crashed it. Its fixed now but I hate the way things line up.
