what demon has possessed you to make you say that? traction control sucks big donkey *****. it's a "safety" feature that is useless in normal everyday driving.

you would have to have ABS and the proportioning block and software to install T/C in your car. I'm pretty sure it can't be done, and if it is possible, you'd be out several thousands to get it.
Its useless in performance driving, but for everday use with the average driver its a good thing. I have seen/heard more than one inexperenced driver get their *** saved by T/C.

The only bad part about T/C is forgetting to turn it off when you are racing. I used to have it disabled, but I forgot to ask my tuner the last time to do so, but my car is not a DD and never/rarely sees bad weather.

Its really too bad that ford's traction control sucks, because there are a few cars out there that are basically faster with the t/c on than off. If it works properly its a great thing.

T/C isn't standard...I wish the guy who originally bought my car had not gotten the option

According to the '03 brochure T/C was standard on all GTs; I do agree with your "donkey *****" comment though--I have it permanently disabled via a handheld programmer...ABS is in the same class, it only benefits people who don't know how to drive and then drive too fast for existing road conditions and vehicle capabilities on top of that. It's all part of the government's turning automobiles in to bumper cars, by adding crap to prevent and minimise injuries rather then using education and traffic enforcement (tailgating, failure to signal and abrupt, lane changes, etx.) to prevent and minimise crashes in the first place.

traction control is the skinny pedal on the right
Hahaha, I agree. T/C sucks for sure. If you have nitrous or a blower it can kill your motor. I had mine disabled as well. Besides, with it on it causes the car to do a nose dive anyway. You can run faster spinning.
