CLEANING ENGINE?
cd2 engine detailer, comes with 2 cans of spray. the first is a degreaser you spray on everything, you rinse that off after a few minutes then coat everything with the detailing spray, run the engine and let it dry on. car engine bay looks brand new afterwards.
ORIGINAL: KartR31487
I use some kind of Orange/citrus smelling degresser. Cant remember the name. I spray down the engine compartment, let it soak for a few minutes, and then power wash it. I just avoid hitting most of the electral areas with direct contact. Let it dry...then I wipe down all the plastic and rubber with wd40 or armor all.
Dont know if its right, but thats what I do. Been doing it for 60k miles, and no problems yet...

i just use a rag with a little tire wet foam on it to shine everything up. Its not as sticky as the black magic, so dirt doesn't stick to it. I use the degreaser method also, works every time with no problems!
