If your really that worried just get a modular x pipe. They allow you to swap between the cats and offroad legs without having to remove the whole pipe.

LA has far more problems to worry about than emissions!!!! I drove thru there before Katrina and the air was horrible, along with other problem areas (no offense to those who live there) but that state needed a great deal of work b4 the hurricane. I'd go out on a limb and say you're fine with the o/r pipe

in livingston. we have the emission thing on our inspection sticker, but i dont think they sniff. just wondering from someone who knows for sure

even if they do, save the stock one and throw it back on the day b4 the test.
