I thought I left the plastic peice in there? Is it different from the T45?

The plastic ball should go on the **** at the bottom of the shifter like hte directions say.. I called because I never did it.. and George told me not to drive the car again until I fixed it because you can start grinding metal, he told me to make sure there were not metal shavings in the tranny fluid...

Hey I put my shifter in today the stayed in the tranny I dropped the MGW shaifter in took it out put it back in and everything seemed fine so I took it for a drive and no play I did use the stop and it feels great

If you have the TR3650, your not suppose to use the shifter stops... and the black piece is suppose to be on the bottom of the shifter...
