PS: Its fluid not oil. Oil goes in the engine.

ok, t-45. jsut need to know the weight of the "fluid" for now. Syncromesh it this weekend.

The manual transmissions in all "new-edge" Mustang GTs (T-45 or 3650) use Mercon ATF (which is indeed oil, however for some reason convention dictates that we call it fluid). GM Synchromesh and Royal Purple Synchromax are two popular products however any ATF meeting the Ford Mercon specification will work. I used RP Synchromax last time I changed my tranny juice and found that did seemto out-perfrom whatever was in there (most likely the factory stuff as the car had 31k miles when I bought it and I doubt the PO changed it).[/align][/align]
