Default 93Z28 vs 00GT

Ok for starters I was intrested in a 04 Mach 1, I went to testdrive it and the dealership had sold it so im kinda pissed...Anyways my friend has a stock 2000 Mustang GT (STICK), would my 1993 Z28 Camaro (LT1, AUTO) beat it? I have a CAI and thats it...What if I took the CAI off?

Thanks...

M

I would give a very slight edge to the stang, because of age and that the gt is a stick and the maro is an auto. this is assuming the stang driver knows how to drive. +1 on being pissed about missing out on the mach 1!

yea but chevys have less drivetrain loss than fords...autos and manuals have almost the same. its a drivers race....manual vs manual the edge goes to the lt1 but the stang shouldnt have any problems beating the guy if hes not a perfect driver.
