battery dead??

battery dead??
i have a stupid question. i may be the worlds biggest idiot...anywayi went out to the garage to polish my wheels, so i put the key in and turned it foward so the accessories went on...i figured i would be out long so it was no big deal, anyway i then decided to hand wax my car which took me about 2 hours, all this while having the acceries on, all of the sudden the stero went off and i tried to start it up and it wouldnt start, will letting it sit for a while recharge the battery??
