Default Question about diablosport

I can get a decent deal on a diablosport. How are the tunes on a diablosport and is it easy to get other tunes. Is it better or worse than the SCT??

I've had both, Diablo is more user friendly but SCT is overall better.

ok i have been reading up on the diablosport and stuff, so what is the big difference about the diablosport and just going to a dyno and doing a custom tune. You are spending like 3-400 on the diablosport and then you have to go to a dyno and pay another 100 dollars for a custom tune for your car?? You could just go to the dyno and pay 100 for 3 pulls and a custom tune and everything will be done.

The diff is with the tuner you can change for gear ratios, tire ratios and do a bunch of stuff yourself. You don't have to go to the dyno after you install the diablo unless you want to.

The difference is that the Diablo Sport is just the tuner. But It comes with tunes on it. The extra money you're spending for a custom tune on the dyno is the mone your tuner charges as his tuning fee.

So If you get the Diablo Sport, you can just upload the tune that comes with it (although most people say they are bad tunes). Or for another 150-250, you can get on the dyno and get dyno tuned by a tuner. A dyno tune is best because it is specifically designed for YOUR car.

But besides tuning, there are still benefits of having a tuner (gear recalibrations, etc, etc.)

I modified my diablo tune and maxed the timeing andI always run at least 91 octane andI felt a decent difference. Maybe 10-12 rwhp.

Has anyone ever ran their car at a track back to back with and without a tuner to see what they really do? Or tried on a dyno back to back with and without a tuner? Just curious.
