Default DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT!!!

Ok, so a few weeks ago i did my first burnout, it was nice and all, but there was only one line of tread, so i was like WTF? I did another one, and i got 2, so i felt a little better. A few hours later my friend wanted me to do one, so i did, and only one line again... [:@] Did another one, had 2.

So, i was kinda thinkin about this stuff tonight, and i decide to do a few to make sure. Well, i did three quick ones, and all three only had one line of tread, the passengers side.

W...T...F...

Your limited slip is even looser than the stripper you banged.

Change out the clutches in the rear end is what you may have to do.

Would this be covered under a dealers "engine and drivetrain" warranty?

How much would a new one cost?

Can I replace it myself?

How wouldi even tell the dealer i noticed the lsd might be broken? "Well, i was doing a buncha burnouts, and there was only one line of tread... i need a new lsd."

No, it can't. You need to buy a trac lok rebuild kit... $120-180. One wheel peels means your car saw lots of burnouts/powerslides. No joke.

Yes you can do it yourself, it's not horribly hard.

Who cares how you say it's broken, you just tell them that it isn't working right and it is supposed to be covered under the warranty. They are clutch packs and wear out over time so it is something that should have been fixed/replaced before sale.
