Default TR3650 question

I put a 3650 from a mach 1 in my GT. I put the original speedometer sensor in the new transmission, but the speed just doesn't feel right. I looked on tremec's website and the have about 5 different models of the 3650, and they have different overdrive ratios. Does the Mach 1 have different ratios than the GT 3650, or are they the same?

Maybe we should change the Forum name to WWW. Mustangexhaustforums.com, because that's all anyone wants to talk about or respond to.

Mach 1's have 3.55 and gts have 3.27 gears. You may just need to get a speed cal or a tuner to fix it. The tranny from the mach 1 may have a different gear in the tailshaft that the sensor reads.

that's why i switched the sensors was because of the different rear gears, but i saw that the 3650's have a .62 overdrive on one model and a .68 on another. Does 2500rpm @ 90 mph sound correct?
