nah its live data. its a digital tach and some other stuff in there. i dont believe it logs. youll need a programer for that

you pressed it down before you turned the key on?

So with your key out of the ignition or turned backwards do you hold down the reset button?

you can put the key in and dont turn it at all. hold the thing down a sec or 3 and then turn the key on not cranking the car right away. wait a sec and crank the car

Do you hold it down when you crank the car?
