How can I tell if my silencer has been removed by a previous owner without taking the splash gaurd and fenderwall out?

Are there any signs, or a hole I can peek through or shine a flashlight into to see if it's there or not? If it has not been removed, I would like to remove it anyway. 1-2 hp gain for free, and I get a deeper exhaust note I think, right?

seriously takes 5 - 10 mins for everything... and if you are questioning it then its prob still on there and they have a lot of cool things on there so take a look at the other stuff they have

Just pull the filter box apart (as if yuo were going to check the air filter) and look down into it. If you see just an empty hole going into the fender its gone, if not and it has a tube there its stil present.

Just look at your intake. Im assuming you still have that plastic cone cover. Can you see the filter or is there some plastic running into the fenderwell? Well that plastic running into the fenderwell is the silencer! We have a sticky on this!

OK well, I have taken off my filter/intake tubes many times beforeand I havn't seen anything sticking out, anything black, or plastic, just a dark hole into the fenderwall. So I'm assuming it's been removed (yay), but I will check for sure tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
