I would save up to get the MGW composite., it looks to be the best shifter out there. But in all honesty I really like the stock shifter, has good feel and function.

I just recently changed from the polished 2" round **** shown in my avatar to a t-handle from Classic Design Concepts (somewhat unfortuantely mine has the Bullitt logo, I got it cheap at a swap meet and beggars cannot be chosers). Not prepared to like it (I bought it because it was there and only $8), Ifindthat it provides amajor improvement in both perceived effort and precision of shifting. MGW makes great of their having the "strongest centering springs in their class", which is quite true and certainly beneficial to shifting the 3650, however it also means that there's quite a bit of side effort required when shifting into 5th, or downshifting from 3rd to 2nd.The leverage afforded by the T-handle makes this a breeze--try one (there are some Hurst and Hurst clones out there too) and I don't think you'll be disappointed...
