Tach Driver
Im just curious..... When i bought my tach driver a long time ago i was reading up on it and it seems like i remember reading that if you could find the tach output wire you could try to use it however it may not work becuase it is used to send more info than just the tach info (or something to this nature). Its been a long time since i have visited this subject and was wondering if anyone here has any insight on this. Is it possible to use the tach output wire for an aftermarket tach? I know you cannot hook the aftermarket tach to a coil becuase of the individual coil packs you would only be getting 1/8th of the actual rpm ( which looks crazy because i have hooked it up this way, before i learned to read first). I would much rather take a chance with this than have the tach driver spliced into my crank sensor. If it is possible to use the tach output wire where and what color is the wire? Just an off the wall question.

RE: Tach Driver
No i just read a long time ago that you might could use the factory tach output wire if you could find it. But it proble wouldnt work. At that time it was iffy wether or not it would work. Just wondering if anyone found a way around the tach driver yet.
