Default Navigator engine in a Mustang

I've heard this is a fairly common choice when upgrading to a bigger engine in your mustang. Would this work?

The Navigator motor that you hear about when you mean specifically the Navigator motor is the 4V 5.4. The motor in your post can be found in just any 2V 5.4 Truck or SUV.

Yeah that link is not a navigator engine. Like it says above the navi is a 5.4 DOHC. The swap wouldn't be that difficult no harder then the swap I"m doing with a 5.4 2v now. The only difference would be the computer. The transmission would bolt up. You may need part/all of the wiring harness as well. You might have a good time with exhaust too but it's definitely not impossible.

That's a pretty huge difference in money. That's like say you shouldn't get a civic you should get a ferrari.
