Cat Placement and Muffler reccomendation
I currently have the O/R prochamber and its coming time to get it inspected in august. instead of installing the stock Midpipe again i was planning on getting some High flow cats to put in my mid pipe. i was planning on putting them on the section of the midpipe that is paralell to the ground, do the cats need to be closer up to the exhaust manifold for them to work properly meaning will i still pass inspection if i put them on the paralell part versus the angled part closer to the manifold? i will probably leave them in bc i am getting sick of my car being extremely loud. i am also getting tired of the intense drone of my Dronemaster 40 series on the highway, what is another muffler that wont drone on the highway and will be much quieter during cruising?

RE: Cat Placement and Muffler reccomendation
the parrallel part is where the aftermarket mid mid pipes have the cats. For as a muffler that will be quiter while cruising, just go with a straight through muffler, the chambered mufflers are the ones that drone. Went to SLP LMII's and have no drone, almost wanted to take the tailpipe off to make more noise inside. Still have the stock manifolds and midpipe right now though
