dyno and gears

Default dyno and gears

will changing gears affect my dyno numbers. what i am getting at is i am going to install some more parts and have done gears since the dyno. I was using the last dyno as a baseline for my installs.

yea, higher gears usually get you a couple less hp on the dyno

thanks for the info. I think i said it before i can't remember but did U know the temp of ur intake charge with out the intercooler I have looking at a vortech kit like ur's just trying to get alittle info. thanks.

I dunno it, I know my ecu is set to start pulling timing at 140* and more at 180* - the temp is largly dependant on the outside air temp, probably increases around 70 - 90 degrees or so
