4.6L stroker kit
I've been hearing a lot of bad things about the 4.6L stroker kit. Tell me what you think, I have a 4.6L 2V that I am rebuilding and I can get a stroker kit for it for $1100, bore it .020 over for another hundred, P&P the PI heads for $275, and get a set of high lift comp cams for 500. The internals will all be forged obviously and I want to run a 200 shot through it. Does this sound like a good idea? How much power do you think it will produce before nitrous? It will be about 10.5:1 comp. Thanks.
But if I am boring the block anyways and rebuilding the motor I am going to need new pistons, rods, bearings etc.. and I want them to be forged so is $1100 for the stroker kit which comes with all that really a waste of money?
