Thanks!! I run 28x9 M/T ET drags. I'm not sure how long they last. I have maybe 5 passes at the track and 5 runs on the street and 100 or so street miles, still look like new.

I would say the coopers I have now would last a good while, because doing a big nasty burnout at the dragstrip with street tires will hurt your times, street tires when they get real hot make the tires greasy and will not hook, with the coopers I just get them warm with a quick bunout, now the mickeys I have are a drag radial and hook better with a longer burnout, they are also more soft and will wear out quicker but hook a whole lot better, with the mickeys on i knocked off 3tenths in the 1000ft.

You can run the Welds on the street without worry. But like mentioned before corner carving is out of the question. Bogart racing wheels are the ones you don't want to run anywhere but the track (street use voids warranty). I have 15x3.5 skinnies up front and 15x10's out back. The tires are 255/50-15 Sticky Mickey ET Street radials (d/r's). Not great in the rain. Been caught in it once and had to call my wife to come pick me up. Mine isn't a DD tho. The Welds are a task to keep looking showroom new tho. They are polished aluminum with no clearcoat on them so you need to be choosy on what cleaning products to use and really **** about keeping them clean.
