I paid $150 for metallizied tint with lifetime warrenty. I opted for the darkest they had available, which was 13%.

Most shops will charge anywhere from 100 to 250 for the entire car minus the windshield and opt for the lifetime warantee incase any bubbling occours.

thanks guys. i already have tint that came on the car, but actually want to go darker .
Then you're waaaay better off to peel off the existing tint & apply a new darker layer,, DON'T stick tint on top of tint! Maybe you already know that,, wasn't sure.

Tinting glass is easy so long as the window doesn't have a compound curve. The problem with window tint film is it is not streachy so, if the window has a compound curve like the rear glass of a New Edge Stang then, you need to apply several individual pieces that slighty overlap each other .. a massive PITA!

I paid a shop to do mine lol

I did the Wal-Mart tint on my old Ranger. It turned out okay without bubbles but it turned purple in a matter of a month or two. Take it to a professional and have it done. Make sure there is a lifetime warranty offered wherever you go.

i wouldnt go wal-mart tint it re-rolls back onto itselft its pretty crappy. but tinting isnt hard at all, just some patience is all it takes and a steady hand, ive done a bunch of cars, basically the more you do it you find little tips and tricks, but the most important thing i can tell you is lots of soapy water incase you mess up you can move it around.
