Default Tuning Questions

I have a predator tuner. I Have been trying to come up with the best tune.
1) I have stock gears, should I change to gear ratio to the better gears to make the car think I have better gears
2) I have it set to shift at each gear around 6100 rpm's. where is the best shift point.
I have some other things changed but cant think what off the top of my head. Does anyone have any suggestions or is anyone willing to share a good tune on here.

Default RE: Tuning Questions

You obviously dont know anything about tuning your car. Stick with the diablo tune before you no longer have a mustang. If you change your gear ratio all it will do is throw your speedo off. If you want to destroy your engine keep the shift points at 6100.

If you want to adjust your shifts better the set the shift points at 5500, set firmness max and turn to torque modulators off.

Dont mess with your fuel or timing!

Sorry I have been out of town.

No dont touch your fuel ratio unless you have a wideband sensor and know what you are doing.

With you mods I would do what I think most here have done

1 - Reset tune to factory (just to clear everything you might have done)
2 - Click on Diablo tune and before installing modify timing to full 10% advance (you shouldn't knock since you need tobe running 91/93 octane anyways with the tune)
3 - Install Diablo tune
4 - Mash loud pedal for instant gratification
