i would like to be able to get my car around 500rwhp or more. What do i need to do to the engine to achieve this safely? And please be specific, i dont know much about the forging, or swapping process in our engines. also what would an estimate on the price be all said and done installed? if this process wont be over 2500 im gonna do it. otherwise im just gonna get a snow methanol kit and be around 400rwhp. any other tips for safely increaseing horsepower on my engine would be appreciated.

If you want a reliable 500rwhp or more you need at least new rods and pistons, a cobra crank would be nice piece of mind too. 2500 is just about the limit for this stuff. Figure about 1800 for a forged rotating assembly and close to a grand for labor/machine work. Its not gonna make any extra power though; just be able to handle it.

The snow kit will keep it safe but not help you get to 500hp
Forged rods and pistons are a must!
