Saving $$$
So I'm saving for a pi swap or pi engine swap and was thinking about
getting a dyno tune first.
Should I get the dyno tune then start saving $$ or skip the tune and save for the pi?
How much HP would I gain with the tune?
Thanks

well if you do a PI swap or PI engine swap, your going to have to tune the car if you want the most rwhp... so i'd do a PI swap first then tune it. iono about doing a whole pi engine swap but just my 2cents is doing a pi swap than the whole engine.

So far as the PI swap vs engine swap, honestly unless you are seeing ALOT more expense with the entire engine than the PI swap, I would do the entire engine. By the time you do the PI swap you already have everything unbolted but the motor mounts, transmission, and starter, the engine is basically ready to come out.
Stay patient and find yourself a PI engine that has lower miles than your car. Not only do you not have to tear the engine apart (IMO would be easyer to do enitre engine swap than PI swap with pulling the motor apart) but you get a engine with less miles....
I tried ebay and could not find a 2v but man this would be tasty:

Another link, seems a bit high to me:

I think you would have better luck with local yards though.
