no WAY should it take almost 3 hours to weld in subframe connectors!
my shop quoted me $520 but they were removing the carpet.

i did mine in under two hours with removing seats and carpet and instaled driveshaft loop at same time. be shur to put good under coating on wellds to keep rust off. only cost like 75 for good ones

you dont need to remove the carpet. just tack the four corners and do inch sections at a time and let it air cool. if you look at it they dont even weld to the floorboard

I've never welded before... so using this as a starting project is not wise imo. I'm not sure if this is a difference or not, but these will be the full length subframe connectors... I took it that there are different SFC's but I don't know. Maybe thats why it takes longer to do??

yea, i had the full length boxed subframe connectors welded on at kar kare for 50 bucks.
