FRPP 70mm Throttle body
I have been offered pullys(not sure what company) and a 70mm FRPP throttle body for a little under $200. Is the ford racing throttle body good or should I keep looking for another company?

RE: FRPP 70mm Throttle body
I havent heard anything bad about FRPP, but i went with a BBK throttle body because you cant go wrong with BBK/Edelbrock. That offer for pullies and a throttle body sounds like a steal to me, just make sure nothing is wrong with either.

RE: FRPP 70mm Throttle body
Its not a true 70mm throttle body, more like 68mm and its a poor design. I've got one now and I've worked it as much as can be done - its better than it was but probably not as good as a BBK or Accufab - unworked their the worst out there

RE: FRPP 70mm Throttle body
Its not the same size all the way through - the back where the butterfly is 70mm but the front where the intake tube goes on is only 68mm. Its "ok", but not worth paying more than $50 for - the pullies used are worth $100 (if Steeda), make sure you get the right water pump pulley though because they changed those mid year in '01

Yeah go to the steeda website and look at their underdrive pulleys. They have two images for you to be able to distinct which type of 01 model you are. Dont wanna buy the wrong product...
