Sooo..im about to get my new mid pipe ( catted h or x)...and was wondering which will sound better/louder...flowmaster 10 series mufflers or the slp loudmouth 2?

i have a catted x and loudmouth 2's, i get complements all the time from older muscle car guys. and its very loud behind the car, everytime i go through a parking garage i have a huge smile on my face. but it definately is a different sound that flowmasters, which is what most mustangs around here have. click the link in my sig to see a few sound clips.

i highly doubt "most" of the mustangs there are running flowmaster 10's seeing as how flowmaster doesnt market them aggressively. half the people on this board dont even know what they sound like and were some of the most well informed mustang enthusiasts out there. i guarantee you they sound nothing like the 40's, which is the flowmaster you will hear most on the road.

ive been taking videos of my exhaust (flowmaster 10's) but it comes out crappy cause its with a cell phone and the exhaust is so loud it just sounds like static. ill see if i cant use a video camcorder and post a couple clips of idle, wot and normal freeway.

I don't know what mods you have on your car, but i'd say go with the o/r H. I thought about changing to the X, but was talked out of it. If you don't have them already, you need Long Tubes. Headers w/ an o/r h or x which ever one you prefer will sound wicked. The H is going to give you a more "muscle car" sound. X will make you sound like "nascar" from what I was told. Either way, you're gonna turn heads.

if you like the deep sound you need to go with the h pipe i recently changed to an high flow catted X-pipe w/ super 40'sand it made it a higher pitch like everyone has said like nascar but i like it
